Lucknow Central upcoming Bollywood movie's song was launched at Yerwada Central Jail, Mumbai on the occasion of this Independence Day.
The cast of the film including Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Ravi Kishan, Ronit Roy, Rajesh Sharma, Deepak Dobriyal & Inaamulhaq were present there. Along with the music directors of the film, Rochak Kohli & Arjuna Harjai also attended the event.
Director Ranjit Tiwari said, "Nothing could have been apter than sharing the song with you people because the story of our film revolves around four inmates who have a dream of singing."
Farhan said: "If you dream and walk towards it, it will come into reality one day. On the other hand, I also think that it is the responsibility of the society to accept you people as a normal citizen and give equal opportunity once you go out of the jail."
Farhan Akhtar also crooned the shayari from his movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara, as well as the song Yaari from his movie Wazir. He also sang some songs from his musical movie Rock On.
Everyone enjoyed the evening so much that the jail authority said that they will try to make the special screening of the movie Lucknow Central for the jail inmates.
